This hand-carved, hand-printed linoleum print is an ode to quarantine life. It is lovingly printed and hand burnished with a wooden spoon onto off-white Rieves Lightweight paper. It measures 11x14 inches with soft, torn-down edges. The print itself is a portrait of my emotional state during the first, full month of quarantine.
Due to hand-inking and printing, small variations are apart of the process. However, these slight imperfections are an important part of seeing the artist's hand in the work, and embracing the fact that the art was made by a human artist, not printed from a machine.
